FROM YOUR FRONT YARD TO YOUR BACKYARD...WE GOT YOU COVERED
At Noble Barnes, our goal is to provide reliable, professional, and respectful care for every home we service. These policies help create clear expectations so that our team can deliver consistent, high-quality service while protecting both our clients and our team members.
At Noble Barnes, we believe trust begins with knowing who is caring for your home.
Unlike companies that use independent contractors or third-party platforms, every housekeeper is hired directly by Noble Barnes. Our team members are carefully selected because they share our commitment to integrity, respect, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Before joining our team, each employee completes our hiring process, which includes:
We want you to feel comfortable and confident with the person entering your home.
To help you get to know our team, every Noble Barnes housekeeper is featured on our website with:
Prior to your scheduled services, you will also receive an introduction to the team member(s) assigned to your home. In addition, we regularly introduce new team members and share staff announcements through our client communications so you always know who is part of the Noble Barnes family.
Our commitment to transparency means you'll always know who is caring for your home, giving you peace of mind with every visit.
At Noble Barnes, every new housekeeping client is required to complete a Meet & Greet prior to the first scheduled cleaning.
This complimentary in-home consultation allows us to understand your home, your expectations, and the level of service you are looking for. It also gives you the opportunity to meet with a Noble Barnes representative, ask questions, and ensure we are the right fit for your household.
During the Meet & Greet, we will:
Following the Meet & Greet, detailed notes are created for your home and shared with the Noble Barnes cleaning team assigned to your service. This helps ensure consistency and allows us to deliver the same high-quality experience with every visit.
Our goal is to build a long-term relationship based on trust, communication, and exceptional service from your very first appointment.
Noble Barnes provides residential housekeeping services tailored to each home. Typical services may include:
All services are customized based on the size of the home, frequency of service, and level of cleaning required.
Service Types
Noble Barnes offers the following core service levels:
A detailed checklist outlining exactly what is included in each service type accompanies these Policies & Procedures and should be reviewed alongside this document.
Additional services (such as inside-oven cleaning, interior window cleaning, laundry, or refrigerator cleaning) can be added on to any service type for an additional cost. Ask our office for current add-on options and pricing.
To allow our team to clean efficiently:
Preparing your home helps maximize the time our team spends cleaning rather than organizing.
Due to travel time, traffic, and varying job sizes, exact arrival times cannot always be guaranteed. Our teams generally service homes between:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Clients will receive an estimated arrival window. If a cleaning requires additional time due to unexpected conditions, the client may be contacted for approval before continuing.
When a cleaning is scheduled, time is reserved specifically for your home.
Once a reminder/announcement about your upcoming cleaning has been sent, clients have 12 hours to make any modifications or cancellations at no charge. Modifications or cancellations made after this 12-hour window are subject to the following fees:
If a client cancels or reschedules, pricing and future appointment availability may be adjusted accordingly. A cancelled or rescheduled time slot is not guaranteed to remain open — the appointment slot may be filled by another client, and the original client may lose their reserved spot.
These policies protect the scheduled time reserved for each client and for our team.
For safety and liability reasons, Noble Barnes does not clean:
Special requests may require referral to a specialty service.
For the safety of our team and your home, our team will not:
Biohazard situations (mold, pests, bodily fluids) must be addressed before cleaning can be performed.
Thermostat & Utilities
For the comfort and safety of our team while working, we ask that air conditioning be set no higher than 70°F during service in warmer months. If the home's temperature is not maintained at a safe working level, service time or scope may be adjusted.
Weapons, Drugs & Prescription Medications
For the safety of our team, all firearms and other weapons should be stored securely and out of sight prior to service. Our team will not handle, move, or clean around firearms, ammunition, or weapons left in the open.
Our team does not handle, move, sort, or clean around illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or prescription medications. Any such items should be secured prior to service. If a team member encounters these items in plain view, they may pause or discontinue cleaning in that area for their safety and the client's privacy.
Our team members are trained to respect every home we enter. You can expect:
Clients may choose one of the following access methods:
If our team cannot access the home at the scheduled time, a lockout fee of $55.00 may apply. Clients are responsible for ensuring alarm codes, gate codes, and access instructions are accurate.
We love our clients' pets! However, for safety:
Out of respect for your privacy, our team does not open closed drawers, cabinets, closets, or doors unless specifically authorized by the client in advance. Bedrooms and personal spaces are cleaned at a general, surface level only.
We ask that personal and intimate items — including but not limited to sex toys, tampons, condoms, and other personal hygiene products — be stored out of sight prior to service. This keeps the space approachable and comfortable for both our team and our clients.
Move-in and move-out cleanings are a specialized, deep-cleaning service and require the following conditions to be met:
Move-in/move-out cleanings typically include inside cabinets and drawers, baseboards, and interior appliance cleaning as agreed upon in the service estimate.
When refrigerator or freezer cleaning is included as part of service:
Noble Barnes is not responsible for items discarded in the normal course of an authorized refrigerator cleaning.
Cleaning estimates are based on:
Prices may be adjusted if:

Our goal is to ensure every client feels confident in the quality of service provided.
Our cleaning teams are compensated weekly, every Monday, for the work completed the prior week. Paying outstanding invoices promptly helps us compensate our team accurately and on schedule.
Our team members receive 100% of the tips they earn. Tips are always appreciated as a way to recognize great service, but they are never expected or required.
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless other arrangements have been made. Accepted payment methods may include:
If payment cannot be processed, future services may be paused until the balance is resolved. Returned checks or failed payments may incur an additional fee of $75.00.
