Lucas Barnes and I am the Founder of Noble Barnes Service. January 2018, my parents challenged me to start my own business. I turned 13 years old that month and they have always instilled in me dedication and hard work. As we brainstormed ideas in our living room, a dream started to form. We focused on what I was passionate about...animals, community, people...the idea was starting to become a reality. Then to come up with a name. This was harder than you can imagine but in the end my family name, Barnes, accompanied with the meaning of my middle name meaning "Noble One" and Noble Barnes was born.   

At 9 years old I joined the Young Marines and completed boot camp on my 10th birthday. My time with the Young Marines provided countless outlets to explore different career paths, community service, and continued education. It introduced me to new interests that I might not have been aware of. It gave me the tools and skills for teamwork, leadership, and discipline. I retired from the Young Marines as a Staff Sergeant, having earned a National Merit Award.  

Like most children, I dreamed of a future career in a field that captured my imagination. Initially, I aspired to become a soldier, a common aspiration among boys my age. However, as I grew older, my interest shifted toward aviation. Active participation in organizations such as the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), the Young Eagle program, and the Young Marines laid the foundation for my journey. As my teenage years approached, my perspective on life underwent a profound transformation. I realized that I needed to prioritize my future and focus on my goals in aviation.  

I have always been passionate about animals and have been volunteering at Rockwall Adoption for the last seven years. Walking, playing, and promoting the animals on social media to gain more awareness for adoption. We use our business platform to post on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook to provide more visibility and bring awareness to the community about these animals.  

What began as a modest enterprise has now flourished into a full-scale family business, employing over 50 individuals over the years. Both my parents now work full-time alongside me. I never expected the growth and support from the community for the business I created with Noble Barnes.  

Balancing the demands of my pilot training and managing a growing business was undoubtedly challenging. Nevertheless, my determination and perseverance drove me forward. I challenged myself academically by enrolling in advanced AP and STEM classes. I firmly believe that school is where we forge our future.  

From my early investments in diverse skills to my current endeavors in aviation and entrepreneurship, I have embraced the notion that hard work and dedication are crucial for achieving success. Looking ahead, I am eager to build upon these foundations and embrace the future with enthusiasm, armed with the wisdom gained from my experiences.  

I am continuing my education at LeTourneau University in Fall of this year. Pursuing a degree in Aviation Management, Professional Pilot Concentration, B.S. (AVMF).
