Job Description:

Reliable, compassionate, and energetic Pet Sitter. The ideal candidate loves animals, is attentive to their needs, and enjoys providing care and companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Feed, water, and care for pets as directed by their owners.
• Provide exercise through walks or playtime, catering to each pet's activity level.
• Administer medications or special dietary requirements as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning litter boxes, cages, or play areas.
• Communicate regularly with pet owners, providing updates and ensuring their peace of mind.
• Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the owners immediately.
• Handle keys and security codes responsibly to ensure the safety of pets and homes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with animals or a strong personal passion for pet care.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for pet care and feeding schedules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physically capable of walking and playing with pets, including larger breeds.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable handling pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in pet first aid or CPR is a plus.
• Familiarity with pet training techniques or behavior management.
